The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the tourism industry, but the cruise sector was hit harder than most as cruise lines were forced to park up ships that - quite simply - weren’t allowed to sail.

As vaccination rates improve across the globe, so the industry is now opening up once again with ships being pressed back into action - with a range of both domestic and international cruises already operating with revised operating systems in place.

With new travel requirements in place, here’s a look at what the main cruise lines now require from passengers who are keen to enjoy a cruise holiday.

It is also good practice to check the requirements for any individual country you are visiting on a cruise, which can be found HERE.
