Viking Gullveig

Carrying 190 passengers, the Gullveig was built in 2014. The boat cruise on the Rhine River in Holland, Germany, France and Switzerland, departing from Amsterdam, Budapest, Nuremberg and Basel. The Gullveig was designed as a “green ship”, with solar panels, Hybrid energy efficient engines and organic herb garden.

Standard Staterooms - Cat E & F - Inside

With half height picture windows, Standard Staterooms provide guests with picturesque views as they cruise along some of Europe’s most beautiful rivers. Cabins are fitted with hotel style beds that can be configured into twin beds. The private bathroom is equipped with a shower, premium bath products with slippers and bathrobes available on request. Standard Staterooms also provide guests with a telephone, small refrigerator and a safe for belongings. Bottled water is replenished daily and the rooms are fitted with individual climate control to suit any passengers’ requirements. A flat screen TV with premium entertainment package is also included.

French Balcony Staterooms - Cat C & D - Balcony

These Staterooms have floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that open out to create a French balcony. Hotel style beds are provided which can be configured into twin beds. The large private bathroom provides guests with a shower, luxury bath products and slippers and bathrobes are available on request. French Balcony Staterooms also provide guests with a telephone, small refrigerator and a safe for belongings. Bottled water is replenished daily and the rooms are fitted with individual climate control to suit any passengers’ requirements. A flat screen TV is provided with a premium entertainment package.

Veranda Stateroom - Cat A & B - Balcony

With sweeping river views, Veranda Staterooms are fitted with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that open up onto a full size veranda. The hotel style beds have a twin bed configuration. The bathroom has a shower, luxury toiletries and offers guests slippers and bathrobes on request. Bottled water is replenished daily and other facilities include a telephone, safe, fridge, wardrobe and individual climate control. A 40” flat screen TV with premium entertainment package is also provided.

Explorer Suite - Cat ES - Suite

Explorer Suites offer guests separate sleeping and sitting areas and a wraparound veranda with panoramic views. Along with a French balcony, amenities include hotel style beds and a large bathroom with heated mirror and floor, shower, premium bath products and bathrobes and slippers supplied on request. Two 40” flat screen TVs are supplied with premium entertainment packages. Other amenities include a telephone, individual climate control, bottled water replenished daily, a safe, fridge and wardrobe.

Veranda Suite - Cat AA - Suite

Veranda Suites feature 2 rooms with a veranda off the living room and a French balcony in the bedroom. Hotel style beds can be configured into twin beds. Guests can enjoy the large bathroom with shower, luxury bath products and slippers and bathrobes on request. Veranda Suites also provide guests with a telephone, small refrigerator and a safe for belongings. Bottled water is replenished daily and the rooms are fitted with individual climate control to suit any passengers’ requirements. 2 flat screen TVs are provided with premium entertainment packages.
