East US/Canada Cruises

There are plenty of places you might want to explore if you book cruise around the USA, and the East Coast is a great place to start.

From the top of Florida all the way up to Canadian soil, you’ll find a wide range of different destinations that offer something to cater for all tastes – from big cities to small coastal towns where things are much more relaxed.

One of the major attractions is New York, with the Big Apple featuring on the itinerary for most East Coast cruises.

A stroll through Central Park, a trip up the Empire State Building, shopping in famous department stores or some quiet reflection around Ground Zero are just a few things to consider.

Lovers of history might enjoy a trip to Boston, where you can explore the cultural sites along the Freedom Trail, whilst a stop off in Baltimore could include a trop to the famous George Washington monument or Fort McHenry – the place that inspired the US national anthem, the Star Spangled Banner.

On the other end of the scale, it’ll be fun all the way if you decide to explore Florida, where you can head for the sandy beaches and bustling nightlife of Miami or make use of the many leisure activities around Orlando.

Voyaging north across the border into Canada will only serve to enhance your East Coast cruise experience, with the chance to gain a little taste of this vast and diverse nation.

A trip to Montreal will give you opportunity to explore a city that is rich in history and culture, as can be seen when you step off your ship into the historic old quarter where European settlers laid down their roots hundreds of years ago.

The blend of cultures found in Canada’s second largest city can be seen first hand with a stroll along St Lawrence Boulevard, whilst there are is range of different attractions that can be visited if time allows.

Quebec City is also worth exploring, particularly the fortifications that comprise the only walled city in North America, whilst anyone who wants to get closer to nature will love a trip into the dramatic landscapes of the Saguenay Fjord National Park.
